This update provides several new features for lexiCan 2.
To install the update it is recommended to use the Windows Start menu "All Programs | lexiCan 2 | Search for update...".
Alternatively you can simply download the latest version from the download page on our homepage.
New Features: - Tags
- Different Media-Wiki imports available
- New reference type: Generic
- New menu item: Link to folder
- References: year is optional
- Create new articles while editing
- Select Article: Addition outline view for selection
- Index view is grouped by default
- Drag&Drop of Outlook messages into editor or files tab adds message to article
- Drag&Drop of Outlook contacts inserts contact data into editor and adds VCF file to article
- Drag&Drop of images into editor inserts image
- Drag&Drop of files into editor inserts a link to it and adds the file to article
- "Link to File" uses selected text as link text
- Word export: new options "Append References", "Preserve Hyperlinks" and "Encoding"
- Web export: new options "Append References" und "Use Article Title as Filename"
- HTML-Help export: new option "Append References"
Bugfixes - After "Home" and "Edit article" the wrong article is edited
- Rare problem calling lexiCan homepage in About dialog
- Links to files on networks shares do not work anymore if link text is changed
